Transforming Communities through Service: A Collection of the Most Innovative AmeriCorps State and Volunteer Generation Fund Programs
ICP and ASC have collaborated to highlight 28 innovative AmeriCorps State and four innovative Volunteer Generation Fund programs from 21 states. The publication’s launch on April 21, 2014, celebrates the 5th Anniversary of the Serve America Act, reauthorizing AmeriCorps and creating the Volunteer Generation Fund.The featured programs are setting a high standard for program innovation while addressing a variety of issue areas.
National Youth Service in Sub-Saharan Africa
Innovations in Civic Participation (ICP) has partnered The MasterCard Foundation and Volunteer and Service Enquiry Southern Africa (VOSESA) to undertaking a research study to assess how National Youth Service (NYS) programs in Sub-Saharan Africa can better prepare young people for the workforce.

Since 2008 ICP has been collecting information about youth civic engagement and National Youth Service programs around the world.
Catalyzing Youth Active Citizenship in South Asia
To address the impact of the best models of Youth Civic Engagement programs, a framework for conducting impact assessments of Youth Civic Participation initiatives was developed by ICP and local partners in India through a consultative process during the years of 2009 and 2010. This project was funded by the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi/ U.S. Department of State. ICP produced two publications as a result of this work.
