Green Youth Service Resource Center

Unprecedented global attention is propelling the climate change movement forward and creating a global imperative to act. While world leaders recognize that young people will be particularly affected by climate change, they fail to see them as part of the solution. National service and service learning are powerful strategies for civically engaging young people to address critical environmental sustainability needs in communities throughout the world. While lawmakers and world leaders develop accords, a reservoir of young people sit largely on the sidelines, looking for quality opportunities to participate.

This resource center is a compilation of information and resources designed to help your organization, school, community group or government agency develop or improve Green Youth Service programs.
