As of March 2007, the permanent Secretariat of IANYS is Innovations in Civic Participation (ICP) in Washington, DC. The Executive Director of ICP, Susan Stroud, is the Director of IANYS. Dame Elisabeth Hoodless, Director of the UK's Community Service Volunteers, serves IANYS as its Global Council Chairman.
