The National and Community Service Trust Act of 1993

The National and Community Service Trust Act of 1993 revised and updated previous legislation on national and community service, combined predecessor agencies and created the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) which manages  the three  programs (Learn and Serve America, AmeriCorps, and Senior Corps) that are today synonymous with national service.
