Resource Center

ICP is an international resource center for ideas and action regarding youth civic engagement. We are committed to providing a forum for youth service practitioners, policymakers and researchers from around the world to exchange information about recent developments in the field of youth civic engagement. We do this through the maintenance of our global youth service database, an extensive library of ICP and non-ICP publications, and by creating a space for online discussion, debate and information sharing.

Program and Policy Database

ICP's Global Youth Service Database grew out of our Regional Policy Scan (Latin America and the Caribbean and Eastern Europe) and Innovations in International Volunteering research projects. Since the publication of those reports ICP has continued to populate the database with new information about youth civic engagement policies and programs from around the globe. Recently ICP added data for the East Asia and Pacific Region and is currently undertaking research in the South Asia Region. Click here to learn more about the database including instructions on how to use it, the research methodology, a glossary of key terms and how you can update/contribute to the development of a more robust dataset.
