Unis-Cite, a pioneer association of civic service in France, praised the work of the High Commissioner Martin Hirsch and parliamentarians, including the rapporteur Claude Greff and Bernard Lesterlin Socialist MP, who recently adopted an ambitious bill for civic service in France. Announcing the location of the 9th Global Conference on National Youth Service
IANYS is pleased to announce that the 9th Global Conference on National Youth Service will take place at the New Bibliotheca Alexandrina (New Library of Alexandria) in Alexandria, Egypt in October 2010.
The IANYS conference will be organized in partnership with the New Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the John D. Gerhart Center for Philanthropy & Civic Engagement at the American University in Cairo (AUC) and Innovations in Civic Participation (ICP), the IANYS secretariat.
